Our History
The name origin dates back to 1934 when my grandfather started a steel trading company in Switzerland. We sold the steel company in 1990, and used the proceeds to invest in our first property. Slowly and conservatively, we have continued to grow the company over the years.
Our family chose RedSteel to honor my grandfather’s company and our family heritage in Switzerland.

Patricia Werhahn
Chef Executive Officer
Patricia Werhahn has extensive experience in real estate asset management and acquisitions. She has been in the industry since 2004 as a co-founder of a real estate investment company. As CEO of RedSteel Properties, Ms. Werhahn is the driving force behind every aspect of the company’s operations.
Ms. Werhahn was born and raised in Switzerland and is a graduate of the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). She earned her Masters of Business Administration with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on real estate at the Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center.
Ms. Werhahn serves on the advisory board for NOVA Southeastern University’s Master of Science in Real Estate Development program, on the Capital Campaign Committee for Sunflower Creative Arts, on the planning Committee for Empty Bowls Delray Beach and she is part of the ICSC Next Gen Palm Beach Committee. She is a licensed real estate broker in Florida and is an active member of ICSC and ICSC Next Generation.
Amanda Simpson
Property Manager
Amanda Simpson joined RedSteel Properties in the summer of 2009 and is responsible for managing all aspects of property management and maintenance. She has years of commercial property management experience and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and Community Association Manager.
Ms. Simpson earned a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Housing from Florida State University.
